Are you talking about a housing bolt?

One of the silver bolts at the corners of the pumpkin:

I've had to drill those bolts out before. Just drill enough to destroy the head of the bolt, then it will slide out the other side. I've since stopped using the bolts supplied and use hex head button bolts with lock nuts on the back side. The lock nuts stick out a bit further, but it's nice to not have to deal with loctite on those things.

Proly, but did you try takin a dremel wizz wheel and grind a groove for a flat head driver? You might have to eat into your case a bit though...

Another thing, take a #2 phillips and seat it into the screw and rest the otherside on a vise and smack the driver. Kinda making your own new pockets.

very good idea indeed never thought of that at all!!!! but i did get it out tho.. took my dremel and a grinding stone with a point on it and gave her hell which had to take stops in between there it was getting really hot and didnt wonna start melting my axle housing around that screw.
