| Where to buy delrin?
I see every one is using delrin for their skid plates. I did a search and found a few places online to buy it. But would any of the local hardware stores carry this stuff? I really don't have to buy a large piece ($$) if I don't need to. And what thickness is everyone using or recommending? |

I thought I was the only one to have seen that movie... I used 1/4" delrin for the skid on my TXT, and used 1/4 O.D./1/8 I.D. to sleeve my hardened steel links. I got it from http://www.mcmaster.com . -WRM | |

You can also try your local machine shop. Go in and ask to look through their scrap bins. You can usually find quite a bit of stuff that may be too small for them to use but is more than enough for what you are doing. I get most of my aluminum sheet, delrin, and other bits very cheap.
