Anybody have any ideas about what woud be a good custom scaler project. Thinkin about use tamiya tundra cab with x trail chassis and making it into a truggy. What axles, tranny, etc. would work great together.

scx10 and the ax10 the same thing but chassis are different. the scx10 is more of a c channel scale frame. axial really did a great job at making this combo. You could also go with a rc4wd kit that is more exspensive but it is one of the top of the line kits where you dont have to make any mods at all.

I was thinkin about using the x trail chassis cuz i now have a spare axial tranny and skid plate layin around and building a custom rig with my own links, rear tube section and possibly exo cage. really want to try out the t rex 60s on this rig for the scale appearance.
