Default Ax10 stalling

I just put 4WS on my ax10 rtr. I'm having a problem sometimes when I am turning both axles at the same time I'm not getting forward or reverse. Sometimes it won't do it and other times it will. I was thinking it may be my electronic speed control since it is the stock one still? Any suggestions? Could it be the speed control is it time to upgrade? Could it be something else? Thanks for the help.

The BEC built into the stock ESC is only one amp, you need to add a BEC. A new ESC would help and have other benefits (drag brake, instant reverse, Lipo cutoff, adjustment ability, etc.), but most still need a external BEC. The Castle unit is the most common one used.

2X on that..... Get an external BEC. Seems that you are over working your ESC with 2 steering servos.

External BEC or even an esc with a more robust bec although you'll eventually want an external bec also. The stock esc would do the same to me with only the front wheel steer. Now I can't stall the new esc with the stock servo, although when I get a decent servo I'll probably need an esternal bec.

It should work with any esc . You still should look at a new esc though . Cant even describe the benefits over stock . Also you can look at the wires on your rig to make sure your servo/battery leeds arent interfering with your rx antenna . That can cause stalls too . Even if that helps the problem I would get the upgrades (at the least a bec) .
