Sportsman Class rules? my proj. specs, will it be legal?

I a have decided to build a simple 2.2 Sportsman class truck from the parts I have been gathering, here is what I plan to use:

Poulson Axles
V2 tranny
Dual Revolvers (newer style)
Eritex heavy beadlocks w/ Lepoards
MM esc+bec
2s lipo

Can I get away w/ running Sportsman class or Sport class? Mainly wondering on the dual motor part, rules I see single motor only it says "optional" before it. Hopefully if I ever did comp it I wouldn't be excluded. Mainly looking for a basher/fun truck, but locally the crawler scene is growing.

Well, Honestly, I can't see any problem with that setup. The Dual motor scenario only applies if there is a motor on each axle. If both of the motors are to be used on 1 transmission it would be fine, But if you are planning on using 2 transmissions. One for front and one for rear, it would not be OK.

I'd just stick with 1 motor unless both of the motors will be on the same transmission.

Otherwise, your setup sounds fine!"thumbsup"

I have an RC4WD V2 transmission, it is one trans that uses 2 motors. It will be a regular shafty rig, just with dual motors. Standard in the rules I have read seems to be one servo for steering, and no dig allowed. I would hope I wouldn't be excluded unless they feared all that revolver torque rearanging rocks on the course =P
