well let me see is it a axail scoripion and did you and weights in the front tires and now it stops steering and the throtel stops when you get it under a binde. that was what mine was doing so i just replaced the servo with a stronger one like hitec mg-645 let me know if yours is doing the same

Any info on your setup? My guess would be that you are running a 3S lipo and your servo quits working when you get the motor(s) in a bind, correct?

If so, then it sounds like you need an external BEC.

More setup info would be helpful, but I agree with JeremyH, I had the same symptoms and a Castle Creations External BEC took care of the issue.

The battery is a 7.2v Nimh 3600 mah. The Motor and esc are the Novak Goat 2S. Again sorry for the lack of info, This is my first RC vehicle. Still trying to figure out what is what. Thanks in advance for all your help.

disconnect the steering linkage from your servo and just steer the servo itself,,with absolutely no load on it,,if it doesnt do the shut down thing then it might be in your esc or your radio,,try what i said and let us know.

also check the servo to see if gets hot or very warm....

check all the settings on your esc for running nimh batteries and the radio settings too,,if the radio is the kind that requires binding like a Spektrum then rebind it and try again
