Not likely...plastic and metal seem to have a very different durability when they meet rocks...

There is a dedicated thread on this in the General Forum.

I wouldn't worry about the plastic, Axial AX10 axels hold up just fine.

Is it worth the wait?

If you have to go to a comp before the XR10 comes out, no, buy a Berg or Losi ASAP and get it ready.

Will it be a competetive truck, yes it will, it placed 7th at Red Rocks in a very competative field.

Are you in a hurry?

The xr-10 will be worth the wait . If you plan to comp next year ! As for now , I would go with whats available . Bully or Berg if you want a moa . Axial has never let me down , so im sure it will rock , if we ever get it anyways . I think it will have advantages over berg/bully , and some disadvantages . Either way it takes some practice time to tune and familiarize with any rig . So for now , go with whats available . IMO axial sucks for not getting this out in the spring . I still stand by axial . But I am about to have a stroke waiting on this beast .

I'll wait. Everyone will go crazy buying them up and then they will show up in the for sale section. That's the way we are. Buy it, try it, break it, either fix it or sell it. I look forward to trying one out used.
