Default Good Battery and Charger?

would you recommend the tower hobbies battery and charger for my RTR honcho? has anyone ever used them? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=LXZEW1**&P=ML

They will work if your goin' low budget. Might suggest a higher mAh like 5000...my .02 - enjoy ur new ride

If you can't go LiPo or don't ever want to, then the charger you mentioned should work fine. But I wouldn't strap a 5000 MAH NiMH battery to your rig as mfishr suggested because that battery is going to be heavy and will weigh you down. Instead, just get 2 2500MAH batteries and swap them out when one goes dead.

yes
this is a basic charge you my what to step up a bit. spend more now and not buy another charger in the next year or when you find out how nice lipo is.
