Default Berg or Bully

I am looking to either buy or build a berg or bully and want to know peoples thaughts on which one is better and why. I don't know much about either one except what I have seen at some comps. I am fixin to hand my mini losi down to my kids and want to build me a new one or find a good used one. Thanks for the help everybody on here always seems to have great input on things.

They both have their pros and cons. I have been running my bullys (both 2.2 and Super) for quite some time with good success. The only parts I have broken were pins on the super.....nothing on the 2.2.

If you do plan to build a berg, I would just buy the stock housings (tubes and cases) and buy the rest aftermarket.....if you plan to build a bully, just stick with the stock stuff.

you really need to read, this had been brought up more than once and many from both sides have chimed inn.
there is way more info here on rcc than you can absorb. but best thing is simply search n read, search n read, and then search n read some more.

as I recall from reading up on it is that one of the issues with the bully is room for links/motors. also weight with the cast housings and turning radious I think aswell. but there is a thread here somewhere that covers it all.

I didnt have any trouble setting up the suspension on mine.

Yeah, the cast housings are heavy, but with the new machined aluminum housings, the axles are MUCH lighter.

My rig has plenty of turning...although I run the front a bit wider than most. With a bit of dremmel work, anyone can clearance their knuckles and tubes for excellent steering.

I have searched and found all kinds of pros and cons for both but nothing comparing the two of them so I wanted to see what people say before I spent the money and wished I had gone with the other. I could be looking right over it or just not putting in the right words for what I am searching for.

X2 And there is a vendor selling delrin rear tubes also now

I think for most it just comes down to what they can afford at the time. Picking up a set of Bullys is a lot cheaper than Bergs. Or you can just wait for the new Axial, but that is a whole other can of worms!
