| Scale noobie help
Hey everyone so im getting into the crawling scene and the scale stuff is wicked cool. Im pretty sure im going to get an Axial SCX10 kit not sure which one cause there are a few now, but ill figure that out. I dont quite understand the 1.5,1.9,and 2.2. One more thing ive noticed some of you have plastic shell bodys like the Toyota FJ, and Chevrolet Suburban etc etc where do you find these and are they only used on 1.5s? Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers!!!! |

| The wheel size depends on the scale of your rig....if you are trying to keep it in scale a 2.2 rim on a 10th scale would be 22" on a 1:1... Get it....so the 1.5 " rim would equal 15" on a 1:1 rig ..witch is more realistic. same goes with tires... most comp tires are around 5.4" witch would be a 54" tire to scale |
