Default Axial AX10 questions

I recently bought an Axial AX10 with the scorpion chasis. It has a Novac speed control, aftermarket tranny with dig, Traxxis motor, Integy Shocks and fourlink bars and the Hot Body Rover tires with cut foam and weighted. It goes alright but I was wondering what other upgrades you would make. Thanks

Sounds like a nice rig. maybe upgrade the chassis, BTA steering and beef up ur axles. Drive the $#!+ out off it the way it is the sounds pretty capable.

sounds like your off to a good start

Chassis would be my next upgrade. Beefing up the axles doesn't hurt but i'm running my stock axles and they are still good to go after 8 months of comps and fun. My theory on parts like them are to use them until they break and then upgrade. BTA is nice for sure, especially if you're gonna compete with it, it really helps the approachs on the rocks and opens up more options. I've never run the Integy shocks but I don't hear much good about them so that might be a thought down the road. If you don't have lipo yet i'd definately get them. If you get the front servo/battery(which comes with the axial bta kit) plate you can run a lipo there. For body I highly recommend the bug bodies, they are by far the best for rollovers that i've seen and used. Not sure what traxxas motors are like in crawlers but if you change that I like the 35turn brushed. I just buy the inexpensive integy motors and they treat me just fine. Servo, i'd say at minimum a hs645 or st126 but the more torque you can get the better, I run the hs7950 and love it. Lastly an external BEC, esp. if you upgrade the servo.
