I myself wouldnt consider the dinky chassis is a knockoff of a mrc. So do the mrc internals work in the axles and transmission? If so then this truck would be great for a scale build if you needed to flip a axle. If you are gonna comp these then I would clean up the bottom of the pumpkin. Those mounts are not needed and will only get in the way. |

G-Dinky-3X sounds good. The Dinky Chassis is just so cool looking. I had to make an attempt to copy the look. Mine does have some differences because I don't have a Dinky to copy. Plus I wanted to make it hold the battery opposite the motor and it needed a cross piece to mount against. |

I was refering to the chassis. It's a knock off of the Dinky 1.9 comp chassis.

I have built a knock off chassis. It would be a knock off of Dinky RC's Sport chassis but uses a lot of the GC3 chassis measurements. (Thanks MCRCRAWLER) I would have really liked to buy one but he doesn't have any available currently. I figured it was appropriate since the EMS is basically a knock off of the MRC.

Honestly all the free mods I've done I would do in a heart beat again. They all have had positive results. So I pick all the free mods as my one mod.

that is the kind of BTA steering setup i was going to put on my son's rig. maybe if i decide to made some new changes i'll tackle that. i'll have to post some pics but i finally drilled/tapped the aluminum knuckles and will be installing those tomorrow. been distracted by my latest addition (xr10). by the way, i saw the exceed mad torque at nitrorcx the other day. my son is begging me to get the orange one. for the price it looks like a pretty good basher for a 1/8 scale MOA crawler. |

Jebster, I have the MaxStone8 also. It is a fun rig to bash around with. My son plays with it the most. But it is big. No indoor use at all. It works well though. Have not wanted to upgrade anything in it yet. Not like the EMS16 that we have turned into huge projects. But the "project" portion is one of the parts I like the most.
