From the dimensions they look like they would fit. What's the pole thing, 2 or 4, what does that mean?

2 pole = 2 magnets (arranged - North, South) 4 pole = 4 magnets (arranged - North, South, North, South) As I understand it, 4 poles have 40-50% more torque than 2 poles but run have a little lower rpm. If you've heard about Tekin's Pro4 (a 4 pole) It is the best choice for like a Wraith or a short course truck that requires a lot of torque and speed!

The Toro fits but it doesn't crawl very well. I ran it on 2s with the stock 12t pinion and it cogged bad! Went to 3s and it was allot better and crazy fast I need to get a 10t pinion or even a 66t spur and see if I can get the 3s tamed down to where it will crawl.

Oh the stock plastic locker doesn't like 3s

Where the top of the shock connects to the silver bolb type things in stock form for the upper part of the shocks...how do i take those off? Is there a easy way cause i used a wrench for it, and it came loose but very slowly and its stripping it..

They come 2 in a set and you will need 2 sets to do the front and rear. (Servo Linkage(40.5mm) 2P) You then disassemble the links and add in the aluminum link from the 3 link. You end up with a link that looks like the lower link but shorter.
To attach the new upper links to the axle you need to 2 ball stands and servo mount per axle. (Ball stand 4.0 4p and Servo Plate W/Servo Mount) You will need to drill and tap holes in the servo mount. Refer to picture.

Shocks need to be spaced out at the axle end other wise the will hit the new upper links all the time. To space them out at the bottom you just need a longer mounting screw and another ball stand to fill the gap and use as a spacer (Ball stand 4.0 6p and Round Head Screw M2*20 4P). Refer to the picture.

You have options with how you mount the upper portion of the shocks depending on what you have done with the battery tray. Here is a picture of how mine is currently mounted. Chassis to upper shocks.

I hope you find this helpful. If you have more questions just asked.
Umm yea, i have a question about where i can put the upper portion of the shocks cause i still have my battery tray in the same spot it comes in stock and i wanna keep it there, but im doing the same thing u r doing and i dont know where to connect it.could u give me an idea and maybe parts links from nitrorcx.com? Thanks

thanks! the chassis gave me my best set up so far.. but sadly it didnt last long.. i cut the plastic where upper link attached to thin so it fell off a wood bridge like 2ft off ground and broke (cracked).. so what i ended up doing was using old alumin plates and drilling new holes in them directly over holes on cutting board and cut the "X" on plate so the trans/motor could stick out sides and still have the skinner skid/tvps. Maybe some day ill try again not cutting it so thin but for im happy with it's performance. just the same as cutting board-chassis-performance. ill post some pics if you want?

MiniMorris: yes pics would b cool, i have done a few more things to mine recently too, beefed up lower links and managed to fit all the electronics under the battery tray, got some proline titus 1.9 wheels for the tsl/sx too because the the bead kept coming off the losi wheels, the losi wheels are great for the mudslingers tho, might have to go back to those for a while.
