Question ADVICE NEEDED R2 2 speed Dig + Brushless Motor

I was thinking to use a ded Velineon 3500 Brushless Motor with the R2 2 speed Dig transmition, but I don't know if the tranny will be able to handle this motor.

Can anybody tell me if this "system" is ok? or should I use another motor?. I don't want a super slow crawler, I just want a something between a Trial an a crawler, in fact more a trial than a crawler.

If anybody have this transmission, would be so kind of tell me what motor is using and what is the top speed (in high and low).

I wouldn't even bother with the 2-speed. I've seen an SCX-10 with the Velineon system in it and it crawled decent and had plenty of speed. I would try the Vileneon first with the Axial tranny and decide for yourself. But I don't think that RC4WD tranny will hold up to alot of high speed bashing either. I managed to wear out my R2 tranny just doing some mild crawling.

Just get a summit tranny and JUSTINs mount. Low speed crawl and high speed wheel stands

Thanks for the advises, I have already ordered the summit trasmission. Also, I have ordered a Hot Racing Dig, in order to be able to select 2WD and 4WD. Could you recommend me a motor?. Also, would you be so kind of tell me the top speed in High/low?.

Thanks a lot......
