| Where is the best place to buy metal rod ends?
I need some metal m3 rod ends. Can anyone suggest the best brands and places to buy? I'm tired of pulling the links on my rig to replace the plastic ends. I found several places to get them but would like some input.

stick w/ the traxxas plastic rod ends the metal ones dont last as long and are 4X the price if anything you may need to go w/ a longer grub screw if ur rod ends keep pooping off or you can always upgrade to 4m revo ends which would still cost you less in the long run. trust me, metal rod ends look awesome but will only give you trouble. ive tried them all and have always went back to trusty old plastic revo rod ends. |

If you insist on running metal, then I would go with either the High Precision or the Heim: http://www.rc4wdshop.com/go/index.ph...289e366835a42c However, as Next says, plastic rod ends will usually last longer. It sounds like you simply need to upgrade to a rod end that will accept a larger diameter threaded rod and also upgrade your links. I have excellent luck with the Revo and Jato rod ends on most of my crawlers (2.2 and super). |

Thanks for all the advice. I guess I will go with heavier links and some revo ends.
