Default Top speed on Honcho

I know the Honcho is designed for crawling, I'm just curious to know how fast a stock one can run.

Thanks

reliabily, this is about what you get. 2-speed summit trans and a VXL on 3s. You can go faster, but it gets hard to keep it together.

mine runs on 3s with a 7t puller, when it was stock and it was crazy fast, I can do wheelie with weight on tires and battery mounted in front.

Nice vid's. I was woundering the same thing. how does everything hold up running it this way. Is there a weak link? I am thinking about building one myself.

driveshaft would be your weaklink, other than that the stock SCX10 gearing holds up pretty well.

I run a 23 pinion with an 81 spur and the stock motor on a 3s lipo. It cooks. Just put MIP's on it to handle the power.

if it was an old ax-10 yes, scx-10 nope. ive broke 2 c-hubs, 2 kuncles, bent 2 cv pins, and busted a cv cup and have yet to blow a stock drive shaft!

sidewinder, HH 30t motor, 1300mah 2s lipo, 22/87 gearing. runs at a fast walk or slow jog
