| Recommended Upgrades???
Looking at purchasing a Axial 90016 SCX10 Trail Honcho RTR or Kit, have not decided which route to go yet as I'm very green to the hobby. What upgrades do you recommend, especially looking for ones you recommend right out of the box. And do you have a resource you feel is best to purchase them from? Thank for your help.

Check a little farther down the list and there is a whole section just for the scx10 platform. lots of mods, parts, recommendations, and ideas floating around in there. Also a gallery of alot of scx10 rigs with almost any body imaginable.

i agree the kits the way to go cause youre gunna want aluminum links quick and electronic upgrades are inevetable if u get serious at all and actually drive the rig... which i quickly have been finding out... as well as u make the truck yours and yours alone... the out of the box is great for right now but for later youll be happy that you built ur own

yep, get the kit and pony up the cash for the initial investment then you wont have to worry about upgrading every little thing later. I would stay with a brushed type motor like this one: http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...&cat=17&page=1 Homes Hobbies make great products and John stands behinds his products if they fail! |
