A Hi-tech 5645 works pretty good in those at a decent price without requiring a BEC, what are you using for a battery and charger now? Lipo? Mah?

You need a pack with higher Mah, Mah is your runtime i.e. a 5200 pack will run for twice as long as a 2600 pack. Most of us run small, cheap packs and switch as needed as opposed to a large mah pack. http://cheapbatterypacks.com/?apage=...uid=C1AE3BG841 A couple or three of a battery like that should do you good. You could get a large 4000-6000 pack, but it would be top heavy and cost the same as 4-6 of the small packs. |

I can get 1/2hr or more from 1500mah 3s batts. I run 1000mah 3s's for comps but would be happy with 750's. As far as a servo goes, you don't want to skimp on them, they are like gold if you've got a nice one so search for high torque servo's that have 333oz or better. There are some Hobby city servo's that are pretty nice for around $60-70 but I'm not sure of how long they last. I picked up the Monster Hitech 7980 for my MOA and it can bend steering linkages with 611oz of torque. The HS-7950 is a very popular one also. (I run it as well and it's super nice) |
