Default help me decrease my turn radius

My crawler has the turning radius of a moon.

It has a Dig, but its not hooked up due to a lack of a 3rd channel on my transmitter. once thats sorted I assume I will be able to turn sharper, but in the mean time I want to try to make it more nimble.

it has TLT axles with lockers and aluminum aftermarket knuckles.

are there any tips for making it turn sharper? I wouldnt want a million points added in a comp for doing 11 point turns all over the place.

Install some CVDs and adjust your endpoints if your radio can do that.

you may be able to shave some plastic off where the knuckle hits which will help a tiny bit, but anything u do to the front axle to turn sharper wont make nearly as big of a difference as getting your dig working.

I was looking at aluminum "c" parts that were notched but my knuckles are still about 10mm from hitting the axle housing. I noticed that the steering servo arm is really short. so i'm going to pick up alonger one today and try to increase the throw a bit.

the other issue is that with the steering linkages disconnected, the knuckles are still pretty far from hitting the axle. so I wonder if theres something else keeping it from moving as far as I think it should.

The alum hitec servo arms work well on the TLT axles and will outlast plastic ones. They are about 3/4 to 1 inch long. When I ran TLT axles I notched the arm on the knuckles to clear the axle housing. You can also shave parts of the axle housing to help get more travel from the knuckles. The stock stub axles can also be shaved to give more travel. Open the inside of the cup up with a dremel and shorten the depth of the cup to give more travel(careful you can remove to much). CVDs and high clearance knuckles would be the way to go if you wanting to get the max out of the axles. I had stock knuckles/internals, alum axle C's and MIP CVDs on mine and they were pretty much bullet proof.
