Im runnin jr8711 on my rigs 403in/oz of torque |
I'm running a Hitec 7955tg @333oz using a CC Bec. |
Hitec 7950th steering servo and 5645mg dig. I have the same radio and had some issues with running a 646mg (analog) dig servo. Put the 5645 in and works perfect. Be sure to get ur self a ccbec for your steering servo. |
I've run both a Hitec HS-7955TG and Hobbico CS-170 on my AX10, no complaints either way. Plus the Hobbico is a little easier on the wallet ;-) |
JR 8711 and JR9100t |
hitec HS-7954SH for me, a little easier on the wallet (steel gears) 333oz-in @ 6v 402oz-in @ 7.4v also with a CC-BEC (set at 6v) |
steering-xp digital ds1015 dig-hitec hs645mg |

What model tower pro do you recommend? |
JR8711, Awesome servo. |
I run Tower Pro HT MG996R. Have them in a 2 crawlers, VXL Stampede, and a trail truck. A buddy has 2 in 2 different Stampedes (CC MM). I have had zero problems. Inexpensive and strong. Have never needed a BEC either. There may actually be an updated, improved, or better model out there. If people mention the 995, ignore it, the 996r is an upgraded version, so what applies to the 995 in many ways does not apply to the 996. Personally, I wonder sometimes when this subject comes up if some people cant tell the difference between a 5 and a 6-they look so similar:shock::lmao: |
whats a CC Bec? Quote:

JR 8711 ... I love it's quite operation never any annoying buzzing or twitching and theres plenty of power for a crawler at 6 volt 403 in/oz of torque. |
i run hitech 7950 |
Cc bec Quote:
This is a CC BEC and I would recommend getting one if you are going to run a powerful servo like the ones mentioned above. There are different ways to hook them up so do a search and find the way that best suits you. I also run the 7955 with a CC BEC. |
