Default change of motor or pinion on bully?

I have stock pinions on 45t motors now on my bully, and have read mostly where people change the rear pinion to help with clod stall. But I have read a couple post where people run like 45t on front axle and 55t on back. Is that for the same purpose as pinions? Is it better to run like that or just do the pinions? Sorry if confusing, thanks for any help

I believe either way works......I have the same turn motors on both ends but 1 tooth different in pinions......going to try same tooth pinions soon to see the difference...

pinions would be alot cheaper than motors, i say buy a few different sizes and do a little trial and error

Yes, that is for the same purpose, however, I would not go with a 10 turn difference.....5 at the most. However, as mentioned, swapping pinions is easier and cheaper.
