| new to the sport
hello forum, i am really new to the sport of rc crawling. i was wounding if u guys could give me some ideas to build my own course. any comps or events are 5 away from where i live. i want to try and get some practice in before i try and com-peat in a event this summer

in my opinion it has everything to do with how much room you have to work with, what obstacles you want, what materials you want to use, what your budget is etc.. personally im more of an outdoor course kind of guy, indoors is alright but you can really only do so much like making bridges and making piles with rocks. check out the general forum section and look at some other crawling courses. i'll link a few here for ya. Backyard Scaler Course Building our backyard course and lastly here is my course i just started yesterday, unfortunately there's still quite a bit of snow so im limited to what i can right now, but the thread shows how much area i have to play with. my slow crawling course build hope this helps ya out. |
