DIG....Comp legal, and it pulls the front end where ever you want to go.

DIG is soo much more efficient.

Rear steer will act like a Zero Ackerman setup.

DIG, will act like the pivot maneuver in basketball.

What rig....1.9, 2.2, super, scaler,.......?
Do you compete?

I feel F/R dig is best on my 2.2 although more steering would be nice. Rear steer is not legal in 2.2 class.

I would build for dig F/R first, add rear steer later if you want.

Thanks guys ! I am going to try and do both. Can you give me ideas on a radio that will allow me to do both rear steer and f&r dig. On the cheap guys, I am a working stiff lol

Well, you will need, at a minimum, a 4 channel radio. You have options here.

Spektrum DX6 stick radio ~$100 used
Nomadio React pistol grip radio ~$100 used
Futaba 4PL ~$250 new (just released and you probably wont find them used)
Futaba 4PK ~$450 new (not sure what these sell for used)

The radio is simply personal preference. I have tried the DX6 and while it has the MOST features and best proportional adjustment out of all of the radios I listed, IMO, it is the most difficult to learn to use. I just could not get used to a stick radio. I now run the Nomadio React and am quite happy with it. The location of the buttons and knobs for a super is perfect, IMO.

That all depends on how much control you want from your radio. I dont know the exact specs on that radio, but it doesnt appear to have a channel that would work for rear steer. The thumb wheel on the Nomadio React can be setup to have MANY positions....meaning you have lots of locations to place your rear wheels in. A 3 position switch (like what I believe the TQ4 has), can only place the rear wheels in one of three spots.

Glad I found this one. I was wondering about how the channel should be setup for rear steer. Gonna try it out simply for the gnarly donut potential. And its little cheaper.
