Whats the best??????

So I am on a budget of about 200 or 250. What is the best rtr or kit?

I'm pretty sure i have narrowed it down to these....

1.Venom Creeper
2.Losi Night Crawler
3.Integy iRock 4x4
4.Venom Creeper Safari

Which one Do you think? Is there any better for the price range?
Im looking for durability and crawling ability.

Also what do you think of the Crawler King

GEOCRAWLER 03-01-2011 08:26 PM

VenomCreeper987 03-01-2011 08:30 PM

Ya...

I was looking at some reviews and nobody really had anything bad to say about it.

the nightcrawler is a very good rig out of the box, i picked one up late 2009 and still run it. the major things that its lacking on are the steering servo and tires. every part of the truck is compatible with its big brother, the lcc. if you want to add a dig unit later on, you can do it just by swapping in an lcc trans. ever part of the truck can be replaced with lcc parts if you chose to do so. that being said, my upgrades have topped out at wheels and tires, servo, motor, lcc shock arms and chassis braces, and a new radio. its very capable out of the box and there are parts available to make it a little monster. some people will point you away from the worm gear drive system, but i personally really like this system, and many of the horror stories about things going boom are from the early lcc days and mis-cut gears, or poor maintenance. i grease my worms through a grease port i drilled in each axle, and i do it often. since starting that, everything runs cool and smooth. stop by the losi comp section for more info.

You got it narrowed down alright  nightcrawler

You've got 2 comp rigs, a POS, and a scaler listed. What exactly are you looking for in a rig, other than being cheap?

Also, your name is VenomCreeper...is that wishful thinking or do you already own one?

If you're going for comp skip the night crawler and pick up an LCC roller new for 180 bucks. A little more saving and buying some used here and there and you have a good comp crawler. Trying to comp with out dig on courses designed for it sucks.

If you are going for a scaler then it's simple, SCX10!

VenomCreeper987 03-02-2011 01:11 PM

Well....

Definitely wishful thinking, I don't care about it looking scale. I just want something under my budget that i can take out in my back yard and have some fun. So i want something with capability. And i dont plan on entering any comps with any of them.

TexasSP 03-02-2011 02:11 PM

If this is just for the backyard a scaler would be more fun. Get the SCX10
