Question Questions about Scale

So, I'm looking to get into crawling by building my first rig. My question is, how well would the geometry work on an externally scale M1025 HMMVW with a tube frame? I ask this because it would be all independent suspension, no solid axle. Would it be top heavy? Not enough articulation? Any input is welcome.

ahh, the age old debate; solid axle vs indy.

For out right crawling, most prefer solid axle.
If you're thinking trail/KOH/TTC... you could go indy... I like the indy front, solid rear.
They both have their ups and downs (, I crack myself up)!

I'd say your best bet is to spend the next month reading threads so you're more informed. Then you can make a decision... because again, there's benefits and drawbacks to both set ups.

Also, Tamiya makes a independent suspension Hummer:
