Ok, well i got the shocks for my crawler today, but i'm having problems mounting them onto my bottom links(they are 1/4" by the way. I've only seen links from RC4wd, but i'm not sure if i like that design. Where are there others that i can decide from?

You can also use clamps designed for 1/4" tubing, like what's shown below. This style clamp is less likely to catch on something as the clamp mounts pretty close to the link. |

I'm using these on my maxx crawler and they keep sliding!! I've tried to CA glue them and put foam inside them for a tighter grip. nothings worked. I'm using 1/4" brake tubing for my links and 1/4" clamps. I tried the next size down and got nowhere. any help would be great!! thanks -rcbro | |

Those work great but you need collars to hold them in place and keep them from sliding. See this pic. Go to tower hobbies and search on collar, the local hobby store may have them as well. |

thanks for the info on th collars. One more question. My clamps seem to pivot side to side so eventually instead of standing it up its sitting underneath the link. Any ideas? |

Mount your shocks upside down, having no pivot ball with stop the rolling.
