Default Help! How to remove axle from knuckle?

I'm trying to install the Vanquish aluminum knuckles for my Wraith, same ones as for the XR10. I see that a piece of the axle is bolted onto the knuckle. I tired to unscrew the nut holding the axle on, and used a hex key to try and keep the axle from spinning as I tried to remove the nut. I broke a hex and bent another one trying to break the seal on this nut. I'm starting to doubt that it's as simple as it looked. Does anyone have a trick for removing the axle from their knuckles? Is my axle bolt just really tight, or is there something that I'm missing? So they make a special tool to remove the axle? I'm stuck......

You're not trying to twist the wheel hex off, are you? Kinda sounds like you are...

Yeah, I think that was what I was trying to do. I just studied the manual again and found a page showing me how to do it. There was a small pin that holds the nut in place (is this the wheel nut? It's not named in the manual) Anyways, I figures it out. It's amazing how dumb I can be......

Thanks for the help,
Sasquatch
