Got a novak rooster crawler esc . Can you use a 3cell lipo with this esc?

i do, and have had no problems, despite it being only rated for 2s. the cut off is for 2s only, so get an external cut off.

Mine ran on 4s for 2 mins, it got really hot, so i stopped. Ive got 2 runnning on 3s both with CC BEC's, one has been on 3s for over 1 year, it doesnt like 2 s anymore. I think its luck of the draw with them handleing it. The CC BEC might help. |
