I've never tried Traxis rod ends. Give the Traxxas rod ends a try, they work good.

Actually, the 5468/5469's are the strongest 3mm/3mm I've used. It's the ones with the hex end that are weak.

Try the TRAXXAS rod ends lol

Mine hold up fine and I beat my rig to death. Dont know what your doing.

Are you threading them deep into the rod end?

What ones were you using? The Revo and Jato ones on my comp rig have been to hell and back and I have never had a problem.

Funny, my Willy's scaler with T8 motor and 6s lipo has Traxxas rod ends and they have held up for 6 months without breaking a single one. I've stripped out 2 sets of steering servo gears jumping it, competed in a 1.5 hour long G6 that was probably 5 miles long.......oh and it weighs 10 lbs. Sounds like you just need to learn to drive .

If you're using Traxxas P/N 1942, those aren't great. The larger Revo ones (P/N 5347) are better and you shouldn't have too many issues using those.

Metal rod ends wear very quickly and we don't recommend those to anyone.

Sounds like you are and expert..

I'm going to start switching all my rod ends out, what do you recommend? Apperently I shouldn't continue to trust my traxxas ones that have worked forever.

Just sayin

I'm curious now what will be the next best thing since apparently my Revo rod ends are crap. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it was either driver error during run or installer error during the build. I have 3 different sets and made 2 more complete sets for other users with no issues. I also use 8/32 threaded rod into them. I'm not sure what else to say except if you are using these parts and breaking them, you must be doing something wrong.

exceed is crap, just saying, try getting an axial. Traxxas rod ends should out last the truck in the first place.

and i Disagree with the HEX rod ends by traxxas, I have them on my blazer and they take a beating.....

So, untill my 4 year-old Revo ends do what you're describing, I'm calling BS

I think the DFO factor is playing a big role here...
