Yes all the major stuff is the same. You will need to get yourself some links the correct length or if you have the tools you can make some (its easy). other than that you should be good to go.

Order the scx10 axial frame kit approx. 65.00 It comes with electronics holders for the rx . You could switch over to heavy duty aftermarket parts while assembly or stock. If you are really going to wheel the thing i suggest vanquish shock mounts front and rear. Cause when you mount the stock shock mounts the body mounts for the aluminum vanquish shock mounts move the body mount location ever so slightly. ( THE BODY HOLES NO LONGER LINE UP THE SAME!) Ive broken a couple of the stock ones in 1 day! Vanquish shock mounts 50.00 front and rear.
The axles in the scx10/ax10 are the same. The transmission in the scx10/ax10 is the same. Links for the steering are the same.

Awesome guys. Thanks for the advice. Do I have to order a frame or could I get one from hobby town or something like?

or look in the junk yard section at rpp and get the chassis with links for about the same price. I would also pickup scx10 shocks the ax shocks are really to long.
