WELCOME!!!!

If you do end up looking like a boob, try to look like two, you'll get some attention at way...

The first thing you want to figure out is what kind of crawling you want to do:
Scaler
Shafty crawler (central transmission with diffs on each axle)
MOA Crawler (Motor on each axle)

Recommend looking in the regional section and find out if there are any clubs or get-togethers in your area. You will find a ton of info on this site, but there is so much here it can be confusing to sort it all out. Also, the local guys will be able to recommend a crawler that is right for you and the area.

The search tool is you friend, use it. You will likely NOT find what you are looking for on the first try, search, you will have to use different terms to narrow down what you are looking for.

Some people here can be a little... harsh. Don't take it personal.

Are you new to the crazy world of RC, or have you been around the hobby a while? This is key to what we recommend you start with.

Lastly, WHEN YOU TYPE IN ALL CAPS IT MEANS YOU ARE SHOUTING... and it makes your posts difficult to read.

There is a fairly good size group of crawlers in the Mpls/StPaul area. Check the out Minnesota section. I know they are holding their finals on Oct. 2nd at Taylor Falls Park. You can learn alot from just going to an event and checking things out...
