| New Ride???
Hi guys new here and I have a few questions. Question: How is the Tamiya Tundra kit is it a good all around rig or is it a show truck? Question: Should I just go with an Axial SCX10 and put a tundra body on it? Question: This will be my first build so what kit would be the best? Question: Is the GMade R1 buggy a good kit (pro's & con's)? So as you can see these are the kits I have been looking at. |

Get the SCX10 kit or RTR. Has the best base in my opinion, you can go any direction you want with the SCX10 chasis. Best choice.... |

ever since ive had my gmade r1 ive loved it i never have to repalce bodies or clips . it crawls well and has many upgrades the only issue ive had is leaky shocks, easily fixed by turning them upside down. i still enjoy the r1 probily more than my bully

Go with the SCX-10 kit. Build it, mod it, crawl it. There are endless possibilities with an SCX-10. If you want to jump right in, get the RTR and upgrade as needed. I looked at the G made R1 before I decided, and from my research decided on the SCX-10 Honcho Kit. No regrets. Whose to say you can't get more than one kit? Once you've been bitten by the bug, you'll want more. |
