| Added dig lost power
Ok, got a ax10, rooster, Novak 55t, 87/14 gears, 2 cell lipo Had all the power and torque I needed to play and wanted to add dig. Got a DNA dig, threw it in with a hitech 645mg servo and now I have no more torque. What could cause this how do I fix it? I took it all back apart and nothing seems to be binding... |

Is the dig adjusted correctly for throw? Did you check the EPA's on the dig servo? You may be overdriving the servo and drawing a ton of power from the battery. Does the dig full engage/disengage? Did the driveshaft angle change, you may be binding it. |

For the EPA I just made the linkage so it would have the ratio needed. Not sure how to adjust the end points on the servo. I got it so it uses the full swing of the servo though. I'm not sure if just the use of the extra servo alone would cause enough power drain? Do you think a bec would help? The driveline angle in the rear is def steeper after adding the dig, doesn't seem to bind though, when in free wheel I can spin it. T hand no problem. Also the dig engages all three modes no problem. And the batteries I am running are both brand new, so I should be getting full power from them. As for overdriving the servo, when I have the dig in free wheel the servo would be in the neutral position and I still have lack of power. |

Could it be parasitic drag?

Ok so the dig install says to switch the motor and tranny around which means now my motor is running in reverse, when I crawl backwards I have lots of power (which was forwards before the dig), do the motors run stronger in one direction? My motor is well broken in...
