I'm a new noob...even to crawling but thought i would jump in the deep end by building a crawler based on Clod axles. With so many designs of link systems and chassis i've settled with the mantis style and see where it goes from there. As its the (thought by some) next generation design i'm going with the 2.2s and Novak m2 to keep it basic. Using the DIG will be an option to build the skills once the rig is built and running swet. After using my girlfriends Summit i quite liked the strategic maneuvers needed and not just the bully technique at full speed. Any hints will be a great help... Pictures soon. |

Nother Noob here as well to RC crawling but not to crawling it's self. I've been wheeling a tubed out Zuki for years now and thougth it would be fun to take a RC scale rig along on trips so I just ordered up a Venom Safari to get my feet wet. I've had lots of Nitro cars but this will be my first crawler. I have a few plans for it right out of the box and will post pics once it's done. I have a feeling I'll be asking you guys questions from time to time. Not that many of you care but here are a couple of pics of what I've been wheeling the last few years. . |

Glad to here we have some more new ppl getting into the mini crawlers. Ive been gettin into the real crawler sport myself I'm in Bama and as you know Grayrock is a pretty grate place for hittin the rocks trails range from level 1-5 . I plan on building something in the next couple of years when the funds are right.

Most of those Bama boys know how to put on a show when it comes to rock bouncing. I'll make it out there one of these trips but my rig is not very exciting to watch with all the furry I have on tap with the stock 1.3 liter!!!! I have a feeling this RC crawling is going to be just as addictive. . |

Haha You know hold it to the floor till somethin brakes thats how we do it ..... Ive found out this RC crawling is very addictive and the cool thing is its way less $money$ then building a real crawling rig and you can load the lil crawler up and take it out when you go wheelin... Im really diggin the lil crawlers so far lots of fun! Sittin here waiting on parts to show up wantin to crawl that lil bastard on everything lol | |
