| Need radio recommendation
I need your recommendations for a good 3 channel radio that is programmable for different trucks. As I understand it, you can use one radio for multiple trucks. Right now I'm up to my emaxx crawler, 2 Tamiya Hummers, my son's emaxx and I'm building up a tlt/SW2 crawler. Keeping track of 4 or 5 radios, keeping fresh batteries in them and lugging them around is becoming a pain in the arse. So, what do you guys recommend? Am I correct that I'll need to put new receivers in the trucks? I'd like to keep the cost under $150 or so. Thanks. |

I'm a big fan of Airtronics and I just got a JR XS3 which I'm liking more and more. For $150, I'd look for synthesized radios. The Airtronics MX-3S and the JR XS3 can both be had for $150... I bought mine used on here for $100 with good servos and a synth receiver...

A cheep three channel is the tq3. It goes for $10 on ebay, it is three channel. It only has one model memory.

The Hitec CRX radio has a 20 model memory, 3rd channel mixing, EPA, and a bunch of other crap that I don't use. It's fairly cheep also.

Spektrum DX3, however it's limited to only a three model memory.
