If you were building the ideal hill climber type buggy then what would your ideal parts list be in it?
Just kind of curious to what people think is the best stuff out on the market for that type of rig.

try take a look in the foff section lots of good info there as they are built specifically to climb hills

I would go for Wraith axles, aluminum trans case with steel gears, MIP drive shafts, maybe a TSC X-trail chassis (aluminum & light), Mamba Max Pro and a 13.5t with some RC4WD paddle tires on plastic non beadlock wheels. I think super light, with super low center of gravity and lots of power is the key.

Bwd whiplash chassis? Wide enough to mount batteries beside the motor, keeping cog low. Short links, mucho badass. But what do I know?

If I built a hill climber, it'd have a beefed Axial tranny with Twin Force axles. Twin axles can be easily made any width you want. They are dang near bomb proof stock to any kind of stupid power you wanna throw at them. The guys at supershafty.com are making some cool parts for the Kyosho axles.

BWD is making some cool parts for the hill climbers, I'd check their stuff out.
