| What the heck is a Beef Tube?
So... not really great marketing, the beef tube thread never actually explains what it is?!? Great if you know what they are, but kinda limits your clientele. I think I might want Standard length Beef Tubes, they sound Delicious. Quote:

They are steel sleeves that go inside the axle housing. They strengthen the axle pluse the c-hub get screwed directly into. The tube so no more stripped out screws.

Yup...not to mention adding a bit more weight down low always helps! I don't run beef tubes on any of my Axial based rigs and haven't had any issues. I'm heavy on the trigger too. I always run aluminum C hubs and knuckles never had them strip on the axles either. Not a totally necessary upgrade but then again it all depends on how you want to build your rig.

They are a really great upgrade if you're hard on your rig. Heck, I've seen threads in many section asking for them... Wraith, Creeper, etc... | |

That depends on what forums you're on. I know that the other forum that Gunnar visits, it has a totally different meaning! |

The tubes do three things: strengthen the Axial housing, lets you set caster to any angle you want, and lets you set pinion angle to whatever you want.
