|  JUGGERNAUt or a TLT-1
Hey guys, I'am new to rc and want to get a crawler. But there is a problem: I don't know wich rc to get. I can buy a stock juggernaut or a TLT-1 with carbon fiber chasis. Plz help because i don't know what car is the best, and i certainly wat to know wich car is better and cheaper for building into a rock crawler. thanks |

The TLT will be cheaper in the long run. They also seem to be the most popular rig on the forum right now too.

Yeah right.......I can still go many places with the TLT that you cant do with the clod........cheater rig.............and visa versa

even though i perfer nylint jeeps over all i like TLTs better that juggernuts or clods

That depends on the price. If its a jugg2 is the same price as the tlt ide but the juggy. The reason being is you can build an extremly capable tlt for under $500, and the jugg2 is worth more then the tlt if there both stock except the carbon chassis. If the tlt is stock except the carbon chassis and is more then 120 im not sure its worth it. I say this because the stock tlt tranny isnt worth much and has alot of problems under pressure. In order to fit a better tranny you would have to hack up the chassis any way. If you can get a jugg 2 for under 200 i would take that. You could easily turn around sell that for more then you payed for it. If thats the case and all you want is the axles you could take off the axles and sell the complete chassis with leafs and everything on ebay and still get your money back. In order for alot of other peoples input i think we need a price and other mods, if any.

it also depends on where you will crawl, if you have a place nearbye that is full of huge boulders, the jugg might be the best choice. but if you don't, a TLT is a lot easier to have fun with.

well the tlt will be 130 and the jugg, it's a jugg 2, will be 200 and stock. The tlt got a motor upgrade a carbon chasis its got a longer wheelbase than a stock tlt, some other wheels and other pinions, and new servo's.

Im prety sure you get over $200 for the jugg. I would look around and see what you could get for a stock jugg2. It has the same axles as the txt and thats almost all thats used. The jugg is expensive in stock form so I would buy the TLT. Its a very capable little truck that has great axles.

is a clodbuster a good option? It looks to me that it is easier to build because you don't have a tranny and a cardan.
