The tires you listed, I'd consider "old school". Is there a reason you listed those?

From everything I have read on RCC, the Pit Bull Rock Beasts are hands down the best for grip. The Proline TSL is second. I have to say, I have never ran either one, only read about them.

It looks like Chris-H might be looking at price also from looking at the tires he is looking at. But I have been doing some research and I will be going with the Pit Bulls when I get some extra cash flow down the road. I rather save and spend one time then just run and spend only to find out I could have done better.
Good luck with whatever tire you go with.

The classifieds* are a great place to buy tires. Of course, most of the tires in the classifieds are used -- which I don't mind. I've not purchased new tires for my Honcho since I've had it. The only new tires I ran was the Flat Irons that came with the kit. You can watch the for sale section, or post a want ad.

would go with the flashpoints. they work great in all terains. i have had no problem keeping up with all the other tires that have been mentiond. the proline is a great tire to, you can have the tire packed full of mud and it will still grip to rocks with no problem.

X2...I pick up great used tires here on RCC, already broken in and usually 90% or more tread..and I don't think I've ever paid more than $20-25 a set shipped..

Pitbulls are flat out fantastic. I'm not crazy about the stock foams though when it comes to sidehills...especially with a heavy scaler. Foams are easy to change though.

To Chris-H....any reason you didn't list the RC4WD Rok Lox?

Agreed. But those foams work well on a very light truck.....sub 5lbs.
