Default jus how waterproof is the ridgecrest

hey everyone i jus picked up a stock ridgecrest and been having a blast with it. but the little irrigation ditch behind my house was jus begging to be played in. so i took it through some of the shallower parts of it and now my crawler doesnt seem the same. so i was jus wondering how waterproof the ridgecrests are and what are some good electronic upgrades to make it lil more waterproof?

I don't believe they are waterproof at all. IMO keep away from the Water until u waterproof receiver esc servo etc!! Plenty posts on how to waterproof, bunches in the scx10 threads. Check into those, Search waterproofing and I'm sure many will arise. Good luck! And stay away from the water for a bit lol
Good videos on YouTube as well on how to waterproof

Are you wanting to waterproof what you have ( assuming they still work)
Or upgrade to better electronics?

My AE2 esc is completely decased and survived a complete accidental dunk. I was at a comp and was up next, so I plugged up and ran it. It is rumored that Castle puts a coating on the boards.... In no way am I saying to take the plunge though!
