What ESC do you have? What is the motor limit on that ESC? Any motor will wear out fast in sand if you do not constantly clean it. I would suggest any of the Speed Gems series that your ESC can handle. They provide a high quality motor with good quality for a relatively inexpensive price, about $30. I have had good luck with the Venom line of fireball motors also. They are not the quality of the SG but they only cost $15 at my local hobby shop. When I am in an area that the motor is likely to receive excessive abuse due to the elements I use the Venom. As for turns I prefer 17t for stadium trucks as it provides a good mix of speed and torque. If you are running in sand you might also want some paddles for the rear tires.

thanks a bunch. yeah i already have some paddles had a nitro stadium. to frustrating. i am going to buy a new set though for buggys i like the sraight paddle better than the staggered sand paw i am probably going to buy an esc to match the motor i choose. 15 sounds good i will just buy several. thanks for the help.
