Where'd that body come from? |
it came from radio shack and it was a monster truck body- same size as that tacky H2- same frame |
That's pretty sweet. I never woulda thought of it. |
thats a very good idea, weres your front spring retainers? |
is that fuel tubing over the links? are your lower plates made of wood? the bed kicks @$$ |
i took the retainers off for better flex, the springs were to tight, no the frame plates are made of brass(there stout as hell)and yes that is fuel tubing ,oh i only spent 50bucks on this redneck beast from tennessee all the stampede parts you see are used |
well thats pretty cool. how did you buy the axles for under fifty? |
well i had them layin around my shop i spent it on the moter, links, and dremel cut off wheels;-) |
I'm sure not going to argue with a $50 build. I like the We Recycle aspect of it, and you get 10/10 for innovation. Spend another $20 on an RC18T battery pack to lower your CG and you'll see a big impreovement in stability, at the expense of runtime. A big part of this hobby is bending your head around solving problems with available materials, and you've done a great job of that with this build. It's all about using what you've got. Later on, you can worry about getting different stuff. |
Good use of parts. ;) |
Nice work man. You should change your name to McGuyver. |
Bad News; she got to fat and top heavy and se decided to take a swim- the esc went bad [it was 5 years old] and i need a new one- help:-( :-( :-( |
