| Transmitter Adjustment - LNC and FS-GT3B
I recently acquired an LNC and in a separate transaction a FS-GT3B. I was setting it up tonight and while I was able to get most of the settings to my liking, the big issue I am am having it with the throttle. When I release the throttle, it goes right into reverse. I adjusted my trim and have it maxed out, which minimized this, but it still wants to walk in reverse occasionally when I release the throttle. I assume there must be another setting that I am missing, but am not sure what it is. Can someone guide me thru this? Thanks! |

I will assume you have not calibrated the ESC to the RX. Most will have you set the TX throttle trim to "0", throttle EPA's to 100% and then calibrate the ESC. What ESC are you using?? |

You are correct, I had no idea I need to adjust the ESC. I am running what appears to be a stock Losi ESC. It has one button on top that says set up, but no other points of adjustment that I can see. Can you walk me through this process? edit: Just found the on-line manual for my Losi ESC. It has procedure for calibration. I will give this a shot and post up any further issues. Congrats on helping yourself with a little prodding. I see you are from Warwick....which one? (I'm not too far from one in NY). Keep us posted on your progress. |

I'm running the FS-GTB3 in all of my other trucks too. Really love the radio. I know they are supposed to come with a cd containing the manual, but don't. If you go to hobbypartz.com, they have a link to it and alos a video on how to use it. Hope this helps out.

Charlie, it was just a matter of programming the ESC (this is my first RC since I was a kid, so all this is new to me). Now all is working well on the bench. Need to get this thing back together and field test it. (BTW, I am in Warwick, RI) litsluv - Thanks for the manual link. there are a few settings I was unfamiliar with, but the radio is fairly easy to navigate Thanks for the help! |
