One nice Clod

This clod belongs to a guy named Anthony that works at the LHS. I wanted to post the pics of it for all to see. He just sold his 2.2 with a NN chassis, lathe motor, 4 ws,moabs, etc. It was really nice. I wish I would have known because he sold it for $250.00 RTR. It was a steal.

Hey

Hi, this is Anthony and I want to say thanks to scruff007 for takeen this pics of my truck. Yes crawlerman I know that it's all bolt on's, but it gets to jod done. Know at I gave my 2.2 crawler away, know I am building me a scale truck, and it's all custom made parts from the tlt axles up. So mabe that will be good enuff for you!:flipoff:

scruff007 07-13-2006 09:55 AM

I thought most rigs were bolt ons unless it was a scaler. If an NN is bolt on then I guess an SW2, RBX, etc. would be too then.

rockschooler 07-13-2006 10:01 AM

i dont care for clods but that look pretty sick.

run2jeepn 07-13-2006 11:29 AM

$250 Damn. That is a steal. remind me not to have him help me sale anything. Nice looking Clod thou.

awesome clod... as far bolt ons go i have the same ones and mine is an amazing crawler, just proves you dont have to re-invent the wheel everytime you touch something....

Got to be lamest comment I've read all year. I think the truck looks awesome and who cares if it has no hand fabrication going on. Most hand fabbed trucks look the part. I'll take a semi-mass produced chassis anyday. Nothing wrong with a well engineered, machine finished looking truck vs. one pieced together, with all it's jagged edges and what not. Machining your own chassis is beyond the scope of most crawlers. We don't all have the resources!

wow that thing is wide
is that really good i thought if it was too wide it puts alot of stress on wheel bearings or whatever supports the axle shaft.
oh well its cheap right idk

clodstall 07-16-2006 03:37 PM

I disagree. The pride involved is way more than you can get from any mass produced thing. Also, if you know what yur doing, tubers and custom machined chassis can look cleaner than a new lid. Not to mention the possobilities are endless when you make your own stuff because YOU decide how you want to mount things and the sizes/positioning of things. The real thing is who cares how it looks unless it's scale. What crawler can stay shiny for over a month anyway?

Anyway, that's a nice rig.

crawler nate 08-15-2006 08:57 PM

i got a really strange question what kind a esc is that and dose it work well
