Default hpi bronco need to shorten wheel base- scx10

hey if anybody has idea what length the 4 link arms have to be for 11.5 wheel base i have a hpi bronco body sitting around from another truck- the wheel base now is 12.5 i guess stock honcho i got this truck in a trade so i am still figuring out what has been altered on the truck

it seems to me i have a 4link in the back and 3 link in front was this a stock feature of the truck i am thinking not , and does someone have a bracket to do a 4link front

I don't know the lenghts but the scx10 came in two lenghts and from what it sounds like u got the longer one. Check axials website and u should get the lenghts u need their

Hey two items i love, The HPI bronco body and the SCX10 chassis.

First your are correct. The four link setup is not stock. The SCX10 is originally setup as a 3 link system front and rear as defined by axial.

I swapped all four lower links with Axial's 7x87.5mm aluminum links.

For the upper links I used 65mm fronts and 60mm rears.

Wheelbase ranges from 10 6/8" at full ride height and 11 3/8" at full droop and it looks great with the HPI body.
