Default tlt axle question

is it possible for the axle to come unlocked with use, if it is locked with hot glue?
any help would be great.

Yes, the hot glue will give away over time. Fill it with JB Weld.

It can losen up some if you twist it hard enough. Are you trying to take the glue out or what?

no the last time i was crawlin the left rear when lots of load was put on it would stay still and the other wheel would spin like a open diff would. i didn't build the axles so i wasn't sure if the hot glue locking could come apart or not. since i didn't build the axles should i have to take it apart, do i need to put oil or grease back in when i am done or are they run dry? and what kind of oil or grease should i use if i do?
thank you all
RYAN

Just apply a little grease to the ring and pinion gears. Any type of grease will work.

yeah i allready took it apart and fixed it, the guy that built the axles just didn't use very much jb and it broke loose i checked every spline took everything apart and cleeaned it up then rebuilt and jb welded it all back together. when i took the diff apart the top gear just fell off and you could see where the jb broke loose

My junk is JB'd and it'll slip a bit while wheelin, but it's the play in the Ring & Pinion not the locker. I go thru them after about 6 months or so.
