You need 2 motors...preferably matching. Depending on your radio...you'll need either 2 ESCs or a dig switch. You're gonna want a 10 amp BEC & decent servo with decent torque. Somewhere around the 300 oz marks a popular choice. 3s batteries are the norm but some go as low as 2s & others as high as 4s. Smaller packs are better. In the range of 450mAh-850mAh is the usual. You can get away with larger packs but its unnecessary weight. Sorry its so vague but there's a TON of helpful build threads here & Harley has a great sticky at the top of this section to help line you out. Do the searches & read Harleys guide. It's just too difficult to line someone out start to finish without em having a baseline of info. |

You can go as complicated or as simple as you want. Good choice on the Savox servo. I run one and have had very good luck with it. Soon I will be getting another, stronger one. I would advise you to read through the various build threads in the XR10 section. Take a look and maybe ask some questions about how everyone else had done theirs. Harley has a sticky with quite a bit of useful information in that section as well.
