if you like running on the trails, the wraith is probably the best choice. I went with the kit so that I could pick out the electronics, body and upgrades that I wanted. I would check out both the Wraith and SCX-10 forums to get an idea of what you like.

I couldn't decide between them and ended with both.

k7zpj..yeah u right, i might b end up both, but stil hangin' on the edge, that both kit show unbelievable performance after watchin' the official video from axial racing..the wraith rtr ready to bashin'...

if i get the kit (wraith/scx10), i probably spendin' more hours building it + makin custom skid plate n other accessories..for sure..

i gonna take the rtr perhaps for saving time...

thanks again..gona start it around mid-July

Your comment was rude and you should apologize.
He is from Brunei, whose primary language is Malay.

I would guess that his English is better than your Malay!

xC Pirates - Each rig on your list is purpose built, but they can be modified to your driving style, so you just need to decide what you want to focus on, crawling, trail runs, speed, scale realism, bashing, etc...

But I will say this, my Wraith (kit build) has me off the hobby bench and on the trails/rocks more than any rig I've owned.

The Wraith is slightly more capable than the SCX10 being that it has a wider stance and larger tires. The Ridgecrest and Wraith would be more comparable as they both share the same axles and driveline. My vote would be for the Wraith kit being that it's not RTR like the Ridgecrest.

Kind of sucks how Axial took out beadlocks for the SCX10, Wraith, and Ridgecrest though.

Looking back I would probably go with the Wraith to start out too. I have had a lot of fun with mine and take more places than the SCX-10. Make sure to show us what it looks like when you get it.
