Default Ground Clearance

Well Im workin with a savage chassis here with stock TLT shocks an axles...my nieghbor told me i wouldnt get enough ground clearance so Im asking for some suggestions on getting some more clearance...thanks

you can move the shocks further down t he sides of the chassis, they dont have to be at the endd

he already ahs them as high as he can on the axles......if he puts em lower on the axle the he will loose ground clearance

The shocks don't have to be mounted to the axles at all.

are you serious? do ya have a drill? can you drill a hole on that alum? you can mount them anywhere on that alum chassis where it will make it work....experiment on where the location onthe chassis will give you what you want.

lol be nice hes a newb check it out new kid, you can mount ure shocks lower on chassis or buy the link shock mounts from rc4wd.com they move the shocks to the links and then u can run ure tlt stocks there or even touring car shocks if u mount them high on the link pm me if u have any questions or want pics

I think you should get a tranny in that chassis and figure out your driveline angles before you try to sort out your suspension. Having loads of center clearance won't do you a bit of good if your driveshafts bind.

and the links suck for getting caught up on the rocks.....if you have to go that route it would be my last choice......I use the links to drag across rocks all the time.....the get hung u with those 1/4" round chunks hanging down
