EVX is a speed controler? yes, I run it on my Nylint, I dont run dig. servos though

has nothing to do with servos, other then supplying power to the resevor that runs the servos

what is better about digital servos? faster response times?

Don't run Digital servos. I have read that people have them burn up, because the digital servos try to keep their positoin more than regular servos so they get hotter and burn up.

Your ESC is fine to use digital servos with. You can, however, burn digital servos up is you use them with a radio without end point adjustment (EPA). This can burn up regular servos as well, but it's worse on digital servos. EPA allows you to reduce your servo's throw so it doesn't try to push against steering stops or suspension links.

I tried a digi servo once and the noise drove my ears batty. That and the fact that you have to worry about the EPA's to keep them happy,it wasn't worth their high pricetag. I went to 1/4 scales and they worked pretty good but they are heavy little pigs and hard to mount cuz they are so big, plus they suck alot of juice.

I went to running the Airtronics 359's now and it's much better IMHO. 1:10 scale servo so it's easier to mount. Analog,so EPA's aren't quite as important and they don't make that irratating buz that gives me a headache. With 200 oz. of torque, they turn my Moab XL's very well. They also don't seem to draw as much power as my 1/4 scales did, which aids runtimes. For the most part, they seem to work better than the 1/4 scales did. I know I'll never buy another servo for a crawler, unless Airtronics comes out with an 1:10 scale analog 300,400,h3ll why stop there, lets just go 600 OZ. and call it good
